What you’ll do
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for positions across our GTA and Ottawa offices including implementing sourcing strategies, screening and interviewing, assessments and offer.
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, providing guidance and counsel.
- Responsible for data integrity within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), Jobvite, including systems training and support to Hiring Managers and HR Team
- Champion Diversity & Inclusion initiatives to broaden diverse candidate pipelines and provide an inclusive candidate experience.
- Partner with People & Culture Business Partners to discuss industry trends, prospective candidates, and salary recommendations.
- In partnership with the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, manage third party relationships (i.e., recruitment agencies, job boards) to ensure appropriate service standards.
- Suggest, support, and implement ongoing process improvements.
- Lead and/or support the implementation of Talent Acquisition projects including Recruitment Branding, Marketing, TA Training, ATS data integrity, TA Metrics support.
- Organize, plan, and coordinate participation in Information Sessions and Career Fairs to further build awareness surrounding Mattamy opportunities. Assess the return on our investment and make recommendations to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition for future opportunities.
- Be a Brand Ambassador for Mattamy, educating candidates on the culture, career growth and benefits of the organization while providing a best-in-class candidate experience.
What you bring
- Undergraduate degree and post-secondary education in Human Resources
- 4+ years previous full cycle Talent Acquisition experience in a corporate environment, ideally fast paced and covering a wide variety of role types and levels.
- Superior business partnering and communication skills, with exceptional customer service orientation.
- Team-oriented and collaborative with demonstrable results orientation.
- Proven ability to multitask and manage competing priorities – strong time management and organizational skills.
- Experience working with multiple sourcing strategies, including active head hunting on LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Must be able to travel to different locations within the GTA on occasion.
- A high level of service and support to the business; successfully integrating with the overall organization, taking a partnership approach to getting things done.
Bonus points
- Prior experience in Talent Acquisition in related industries (real estate development and construction)
- Experience using Jobvite ATS
