We are looking for a Senior Manager Pharmacovigilance, Deputy LSO UK and Ireland to cover a maternity leave for 1 year.

Location: Harlow (Essex)

A day in the life of a Senior Manager Pharmacovigilance, Deputy LSO UK and IE…

  • You will lead the UK/IE PV Organised Data and PV Governance and Case Management teams
  • You will fully support the UK/IE LSO as deputy in all PV/safety aspects concerning UK/IE and act as an ambassador for PV in the UK/IE affiliate for continued building/strengthening of engagement with key PV interfaces
  • You will act as the EU expert for Patient Support Programme (PSP) set up and design
  • You will ensure team objectives are assigned annually and reviewed during regular 1:2:1s to ensure delivery on time and according to the PV Leadership Strategy
  • You will continuously monitor and strengthen processes to ensure timely triage, follow-up and submission of ICSRs and periodic reports for UK/IE licensed products
  • You will support LSO to drive solution focused change to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance is achieved in an operationally excellent way
  • You will ensure team members are fully supported, mentored, trained and encouraged through ongoing development
  • You will ensure oversight of organised data collection within the UK/IE cluster including Patient Support Programmes (PSPs), Digital media and e-Health programmes, Market Research, Named Patient Use programmes, Compassionate use programmes and Unsolicited Ethical Unlicensed Medicines (UEUM)
  • You will develop and utilise compliance monitoring outputs to ensure oversight of UK and Ireland PV team productivity/quality/PV governance regularly
  • You will ensure maintenance of a robust and compliant Pharmacovigilance system aligned with Global, EU and UK PV policies and procedures
  • You will provide key subject matter expertise for Pharmacovigilance in the affiliate
  • You will ensure proactive pharmacovigilance across the product lifecycle for all Teva UK/IE products
  • You will work proactively with relevant UK/IE, European and global pharmacovigilance teams to ensure fulfilment of the UK/IE legal responsibilities relating to pharmacovigilance are met and compliance and quality is maintained
  • You will maintain awareness of all relevant corporate, national, European and global pharmacovigilance developments including any changes in the UK/IE/EU legislation
  • You will support Global/EU PV in any projects as required

  • Scientific degree or equivalent
  • Solid Pharmacovigilance experience

  • Excellent knowledge of applicable national and EU Pharmacovigilance legislation and guidance
  • Computer and database skills

  • Thorough appreciation of the development and utilisation of performance and process metrics
