<p>Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has issued a stern warning to <strong>enemies</strong>, declaring that there will be no hiding place for anyone threatening the peace and stability of Nigeria.</p>
<p>He gave this warning on Wednesday in <strong>Abuja</strong> during the Nigerian Air Force’s (NAF) Second Quarter Route March, reaffirming the force’s commitment to national security.</p>
<p>Abubakar stressed that the NAF remains fully devoted to safeguarding the country’s airspace and protecting the lives and property of Nigerians.</p>
<p>He described protection as not just a duty but the highest priority of the Air Force.</p>
<p><em>“To the enemies of our nation, know this: there will be no hiding place for those who threaten the peace and stability of Nigeria,”</em> he said<em>. “We are coming for you. We will find you and take you out.”</em></p>
<p>He also expressed gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his continued support of the Armed Forces, particularly in improving operational capacity and ensuring the welfare of personnel.</p>
<p>Abubakar reaffirmed the loyalty of the NAF to the President and the Nigerian people.</p>
<p>Highlighting the importance of physical fitness in military operations, the CAS announced new policy changes to strengthen discipline and readiness within the ranks.</p>
<p>He stated that physical fitness is now a mandatory criterion for promotion.</p>
<p><em>“As a matter of policy, I have directed that all Performance Evaluation Reports must be accompanied by a Physical Fitness Test Certificate,” </em>he said.<em> “No personnel will be considered for promotion without being medically and physically fit.”</em></p>
<p>He likened the route march to the broader mission of national security, saying the road to peace is full of challenges. However, he encouraged troops to stay focused and resilient.</p>
<p><em>“Be that as it may, those who persevere, who stay the course with discipline, focus, and resilience, will ultimately arrive at the destination, and that destination, ladies and gentlemen, is the place of victory.</em></p>
<p><em>“Let today’s route march be a reminder of who we are and what we stand for.</em></p>
<p><em>“Let it rekindle our fighting spirit and reinforce our shared commitment to the defence of Nigeria.</em></p>
<p>“<em>We are not just marching on roads, we are marching towards purpose, honour, and victory,</em>” he added.</p>
