What will you be doing?

We’re looking for a bright, highly skilled and creative Marketing Manager to join our entrepreneurial, fast-paced and collaborative Canadian Marketing team– to promote our offerings, create awareness, identify opportunities for growth across the Canadian market and stay abreast of industry trends.

  • Work collaboratively with members of the Canadian marketing team, sales and management to develop and implement an integrated communications and marketing strategy that grows audience awareness, supports income generation and builds a positive brand.
  • Translate business and product strategies in compelling marketing communications, campaigns and programs for the Canadian market aimed at our target audiences (end-users, architects and designers, and Teknion dealer network) that drive interest and sales, including content development, design, implementation, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Lead the creation and distribution of effective strategic selling tools to meet the unique needs of the Canadian sales team and dealer network.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams (US and International Regional Marketing, Digital and Product Marketing, Operations, etc.) to integrate marketing tactics into new and existing programs.
  • Aid in creating effective training programs and support materials for sales & dealers in partnership with other internal sales groups.
  • Participate in identifying and evaluating new technologies, platforms and applications that enhance our product/solution visualization capabilities, modernize our marketing approach, and create more efficient processes; allowing us to attract, engage and communicate with our target audiences better.
  • Manage & onboard external agency partners.
  • Develop creative concepts, write compelling and creative copy and design deliverables for events in partnership with the Events Manager.
  • Support other internal departments through writing or revising communications targeted at sales and our dealer network. Dealer Operations team.

What skills, experience and education are we looking for?

  • University or College degree in Marketing/Business Management/Communications or relevant field.
  • 7-10 years of marketing and communications experience, preferably with product marketing and/or B2B marketing experience supporting sales teams.
  • Adept marketing storyteller – someone who can translate data & insights into compelling marketing narratives to support selling activities. Impeccable attention to detail, particularly around copywriting, design & presentation development, is a must-have.
  • A strategic and self-driven marketer. A self-starter who can motivate and organize cross-functional stakeholders towards common objectives and outputs.
  • Demonstrable ability to understand and communicate complex subject matter or solutions for various audiences.
  • High level of professionalism, discipline, and creativity, as well as the ability to work well with internal and external parties and work independently, is essential.
  • Strong comfort level working with senior leaders in a fast-paced environment and an equally strong ability to analyze and articulate complex situations and issues.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and Google Workspace applications.
  • Proficient with an enterprise-level CRM and integrated marketing automation platform.
  • Bilingual (verbal and written) in English and French would be an asset.
