<p><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/rasmus-hojlund"><strong>Rasmus Højlund</strong></a> has reportedly given the green light to join <strong>Inter Milan</strong>, but a major obstacle remains, <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/manchester-united"><strong>Manchester United</strong></a> must drastically reduce their asking price.</p>
<p>According to Corriere dello Sport, the Danish striker is keen on a return to Serie A, and Inter have emerged as frontrunners ahead of rivals Napoli, Juventus and Milan.</p>
<p>Inter director Piero Ausilio recently visited London to initiate talks, confirming the club’s concrete interest.</p>
<p>Højlund, 22, joined United from Atalanta in 2023 for €77.8 million plus up to €9.9 million in performance-based add-ons.</p>
<p>However, following a difficult debut season, scoring 10 goals and providing four assists in 52 appearances—his market value has dropped.</p>
<p>Inter are hoping to secure the striker for €40 – 45 million according to Football Italia, a figure well below United’s original investment.</p>
<p>Even so, the Nerazzurri would need to structure the deal as a loan with an option to buy, potentially converting to an obligation if specific conditions are met.</p>
