Job description: About the Role
The role sits within the Clients Performance Media team and involves working closely with our 17 markets across the region to enable the next phase of business and digital transformation. You will work with and report into the Senior Manager, Paid Search, and work in collaboration to the wider performance team to ensure the client’s business objectives are met.
The Paid Search Manager is responsible for leading our Paid Search activity across the region. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class Paid Search strategies and execution, planning and delivering strategies across branding, performance media and ecommerce, and delivering on the business’ priorities. You will work with the Senior Manager to define the ways of working for Paid Search, partnering with both the client to deliver their objectives, as well as the wider performance team to drive a holistic approach to performance media. You will also line manage Executives/Senior Executives therefore you will be responsible for their learning and development and leading the overall channel delivery processes and QA.
About You
- You will have strong presentation skills, and feel comfortable building and delivering powerpoint presentations to clients
- You will be expected to have international experience, having a good degree of familiarity with local market nuances and vendors.
- You will be very comfortable managing relationships with clients and colleagues, and will have experience managing a team of specialists, working with them to ensure efficiency of output and quality of work.
- You will need to have a understanding of analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Adobe Omniture
- You will have a good understanding of KPI selection within paid search
- You will have experience training and managing people
- You will have experience activating paid search and therefore an understanding of best practice across planning, campaign type, campaign structure, bid strategies, scripts, optimisation, QA, reporting, insight generation and finance
- You will own the media plan for paid search – working with the Senior Manager to challenge the client/client team where required and managing the team to deliver strategic excellence, effective testing and operationally viable output
- You will ensure your team are engaged and delivering the highest possible quality of work.
- You will also have good relationships with key partners and be up to date on their latest products.
- You will be able to work with other digital teams and feel comfortable discussing how paid search fits into the overall marketing mix.
- You will be able to put forward recommendations and forecasts outside of CPA/CPL and showcase to the client how this activity contributes to their KPIs.
- When clients brief you on new work you will distil the brief down and think of the most efficient way to get to an answer.
- You will be responsible for making sure that the work delivered by the team meets client objectives.
- You will lead the client relationship day-to-day and be responsible for campaign strategy and optimisations.
