Jurgen Klopp has announced that he will be leaving Liverpool football club at the end of the 2023/24 season.

The announcement marks the end of a successful nine-year tenure for the German manager at Anfield.

His departure comes at a time when Liverpool are performing well, sitting at the top of the Premier League table and with strong prospects in other competitions.

In a statement addressing his decision, Klopp expressed his deep affection for the club, the city, the supporters, and everyone associated with Liverpool.

He emphasized that while it was a difficult choice to make, he believes it is the right decision for him at this point in his career.

“I love absolutely everything about this club, I love everything about the city, I love everything about our supporters, I love the team, I love the staff.

“I love everything. But that I still take this decision shows you that I am convinced it is the one I have to take,” Klopp said.

Liverpool under Klopp this season continue to compete on multiple fronts, including the Carabao Cup final and their pursuit of success in the FA Cup and Europa League.
