<p> Ready to embark on an exciting journey?</p>
<p> Join our pre-opening team for the brand-new ibis Styles London Gatwick Airport. We&#8217;re currently searching for a Sales Manager to help kickstart our new 182-bedroom property. It comes complete with an event space, a spacious F&;B outlet, and an outdoor seating area, all conveniently located just 10 minutes from Gatwick Airport.</p>
<p> The Job and Its Scope: </p>
<ul>
<li>Your mission: Introduce the ibis Styles London Gatwick to the corporate and leisure markets in Crawley and the Gatwick airport area.</li>
<li>You&#8217;ll be one of the first team members on-site, with our planned opening set for March 2024.</li>
<li>Grow our business across all sectors, from local corporate accounts (including airline crews) to conference &; events business and leisure clientele.</li>
<li>You should have a knack for driving the sales process from planning to closing, with regular performance tracking and review.</li>
<li>Show off our property through organised tours and familiarization trips.</li>
<li>Attend networking opportunities to expand our reach in Crawley and the surrounding areas.</li>
<li>Boost the property&#8217;s profile by participating in brand-wide events.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the General Manager and the broader Operations and Commercial Team.</li>
</ul>
<p> The Key Details: </p>
<ul>
<li>We offer a competitive salary of £37,500 along with companywide benefits.</li>
<li>Your workdays will be from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends as needed and agreed upon with the General Manager.</li>
<li>This role is based at the hotel, and you&#8217;ll need a valid driver&#8217;s license for local travel requirements.</li>
<li>You&#8217;ll enjoy 28 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), with the option to purchase an extra week if necessary.</li>

<p> The Essential Skills: </p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum of two years of branded experience in hotel sales (Accor experience is a bonus but not mandatory).</li>
<li>Able to use Accor business tools, systems, and databases for account forecasting and tracking</li>
<li>Experience with airports and openings is advantageous.</li>
<li>You should be a proficient networker with a passion for hospitality and people.</li>
<li>Be proactive and hands-on, with the ability to uncover new opportunities.</li>
<li>Flexibility to attend evening and weekend events when necessary.</li>
