Job description: As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial support to marketing team to help them achieve sustainable and profitable growth. You will act as a business partner by contributing to decision-making on innovation projects, renovation projects, and new pricing strategies. Additionally, you will participate in the periodic reviews of Danone Canada’s Yogurt business performance.
More specifically:
- Elaborate profitability analyses for innovation and renovation projects to support project teams in the decision-making.
- Provide to marketing team the right interpretation of key financial KPIs and propose opportunities of improvement.
- Contribute to innovation reporting realization and updates.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses on new pricing strategies and product mix optimization in the market.
- Participate in the performance reviews of Yogurt category.
- Participate in periodic rolling forecast reviews and risk & opportunities analysis.
- Challenge the status quo and propose improvements for existing processes and tools.
- Act as the main contact for marketing team and provide them with any other financial information.

The ideal candidate requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics;
- CPA or MBA designation (or pursuing) would be an asset;
- Very good command of Excel (including Pivot, Power Pivot, advanced formulas) and ability to manipulate a large amount of data from various information systems;
- Ability to work effectively in a context of tight deadlines;
- Autonomy, rigor, method and organization;
- Bilingual (English and French) is an asset;
- 2 years of experience, including experience in financial analysis;
- Relational skills, good listening skills and ability to influence;
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Ability to identify solutions and take on new challenges.
