Job description: RINA is currently recruiting for a Business Development Representaive in Canada.

Mission

The Business Development Representative will be instrumental of an assigned customer portfolio as well as responsible for organic customer growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with more experienced Sales Managers to focus on sales opportunities, client visits and management
  • Provide support in the monitoring of the order intake pipeline
  • Provide support on customer contracts, tenders and quotations
  • Support contract closing activities
  • Provides cross selling and up-selling solutions
  • Track competitor activity and provide updates on competitor news and intelligence
  • Pursues and secures business with consolidated customers in line with the business objectives
  • Engage with current customers to discuss and understand their needs and requirements
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction, repeat business

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years’ experience with roles concentrated in Business Development Stream, specific to ENERGY services and/or engineering consultancy

Additional experience in any of the following business sectors would be an asset:

  • vendor & field inspection
  • decarbonization (wind, solar, BESS, hydrogen, biofuels)
  • rail & transit
  • AIM (Asset Integrity Management)

Education

  • Engineering Degree or Diploma (or equivalent) in engineering, marketing, commerce or related discipline

  • Experience writing, appraising and negotiating detailed contracts and commercial agreements
  • Knowledge and understanding of industry quality requirements and HSE regulations

  • Strong business attitude, getting things done
  • Outstanding team-player and capability to work with distributed international teams
  • High degree of flexibility and capabilities to handle various tasks in parallel including prioritization
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
