Job Description
Aimbridge Hospitality are proud to introduce a brand-new property in the Northwest of England.
TRIBE Manchester Airport.
Offering a modern feel and experience aimed at the ‘Gen Z’ market, this new build hotel is located just outside Manchester airport and is the first of its kind in the UK under the TRIBE brand. Once complete, the nine-storey, 12,300m2 TRIBE hotel will feature 412 rooms and suites, restaurant and bar and a gym.
As a key part of this Launch, were looking to recruit a General Manager to join the hotel at it’s pre-opening stage ahead of a Summer 2024 launch. This role would see the successful candidate play a key role in the hotel from its earliest stages, building the team and culture ready for opening.

A day in the life of…
As Hotel General Manager at the TRIBE Manchester, your role will be to deliver strategic direction in a high volume environment within a highly competitive market. You will be an ambassador for the guest journey, ensuring brand values and service behaviours are delivered consistently in a professional and friendly environment. You will lead and develop a great team across all departments to achieve exceptional performance across the key indicators of profit, people and RGI.
Overall, your ability to create a culture of team engagement and service excellence will be key to this role along with your commercial acumen to support business growth.
What do we need from you?
It is essential that you have experience operating as a GM within a large-scale hotel operation in a complex environment.
As a senior leader in the business, you will have a strategic mindset and the ability to drive vision and purpose. Your role will also include managing multiple stakeholders, therefore experience working closely with owners or in a 3rd party management model will be crucial to the success of this role.
