A young boy was caught by Muslim youth in Ashaiman, Washington, early yesterday morning, using pages from the Qur’an as toilet paper in a nearby bush.
The youth had observed that pages from the Qur’an were being used as toilet paper in a bush frequently used by locals for defecation.
Concerned, they reported the matter to the local Imam, and after several days of surveillance, they caught the boy in the act.
When questioned about how he came to possess the Qur’an, the boy explained that it had belonged to his late father, a Muslim, and had been in his room for some time.
He also admitted that he is a Christian and has little knowledge of the Qur’an.
