The recent release of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s federal appointment list has sparked controversy, especially concerning the omission of some key figures.

The most notable absence is that of Femi Gbajabiamila, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, who is currently serving as Chief of Staff to the President.

The list, released by the Presidency’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Sunday Dare, was meant to provide clarity on key political figures appointed under Tinubu’s administration since he took office.

However, the release has raised eyebrows as critics point out that some important names, including Gbajabiamila, were not included.

Femi Gbajabiamila, one of the earliest and most prominent appointees in President Tinubu’s administration, was notably absent from the list.

Gbajabiamila was appointed Chief of Staff on June 2, 2023, just days after Tinubu’s inauguration.
