Founder of Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, has encouraged Christians to make their offerings exceed their tithes, assuring believers that doing so can prevent financial struggles.

During his recent sermon, Pastor Ibiyeomie shared that if believers commit to giving an offering larger than their tithe for at least one month, they will experience lasting financial stability.

He revealed that personally, he never gives less than 20 percent of his income as an offering to the church, attributing his continuous blessings and financial stability to this practice.

“In a month your offering should be bigger than your tithe. My offering, for instance, I don’t give less than 20 percent. That’s why I’m not poor. Increase your offering more than your tithe and you’ll never be broke,” he said.

Pastor Ibiyeomie also emphasized that tithing, which is traditionally 10 percent of a believer’s income, forms the foundation for unlimited prosperity.

He advised Christians not to wait until the end of the month to pay their tithes but to do so as soon as they receive any income.

“Tithe is the foundation of your covenant to prosperity. Don’t wait until month-end before you pay your tithe. Anytime you get money, pay 10% back to God as a lifestyle,” he added.

The pastor concluded by encouraging believers to adopt tithing and generous giving as a lifestyle to unlock continual blessings from God.
