The AWS Marketplace Marketing team serves as the lead strategic and executional arm to facilitate customer-obsessed experiences across the buyer lifecycle by understanding, acquiring, nurturing, and retaining customers.

We seek a Lifecycle Marketing, Content Manager who will provide vision and management of AWS Marketplace’s Lifecycle Marketing programs on three dimensions 1/develop lifecycle marketing content to we are delivering the right content to the right customers at the right time, 2/serve as the lead editor for the blog and website managing messaging and personalization strategies, and 3/increase discoverability, through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) content improvements.

The ideal candidate has previous experience managing omni-channel marketing programs to drive awareness, consideration, engagement, and retention through the customer lifecycle, including creating and publishing content on the blog and website (Adobe Experience Manager experience preferred). We are seeking a builder that has proven success overseeing agencies and multiple programs simultaneously, and has a track record of not only executing digital strategies, but also leading a/b test to better understand what customers prefer, and integrating historical engagement data and voice of customer data to optimize channel performance and create new programs to meet customer and business objectives.

The Lifecycle Marketing Content Manager will work closely with Product Marketing to ensure brand alignment and test messaging optimization; the Digital Marketing Team, to drive omni-channel alignment across email campaigns and social; and partner with Product and Engineering to ensure that we collectively leveraging content best practices and technical enhancements cohesively to improve the SEO and web experience. You’ll be joining a collaborative and driven team that is shaping the future of B2B e-commerce. We obsess over our customers, support each other, and get things done.

Key job responsibilities

– Create and implement a cohesive content strategy across digital touch points aimed at meeting brand awareness, discoverability, consideration, engagement, subscription, and retention goals.

– Leverage customer research, SEO insights, and web performance data to develop content and oversee testing roadmaps that get the right content to the right customer at the right time in their journey

– Partner with Product Marketing and internal subject matter experts to ensure that all materials are adhering to brand standards and is providing bar raising content to viewers

– Manage external agencies to create required assets and content

– Build and launch web programs (Adobe Experience Manager experience preferred), in partnership with Web Production Manager

– Partner with Data Science teams to develop models that can be leveraged on the website to enhance personalization

– Collaborate with Product team to share content roadmap and learnings, while understanding the engineering roadmap to have cohesive channel strategy and alignment

– Pull and synthesize (assess against KPIs) Web, Blog and SEO engagement data and create monthly and quarterly reports for team stakeholders

– Review performance and user experience frequently to establish improvements or adjustments that should be made to the site.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

– Experience communicating results to senior leadership

– Experience building and formatting web pages and email templates

– Experience managing a corporate blog and website content management systems. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience in B2B, digital advertising, and ad-tech products/services

– Experience in A/B testing

– Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of time zones and languages

– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role

– Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
