<p>A young <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/nigerian-man"><strong>Nigerian man</strong></a> expresses heartbreak over the sudden passing of his friend, whom he had spoken to barely an hour before receiving the tragic news.</p>
<p>Using the X platform, @Adamthallith recounted his conversation with his friend, who mentioned feeling unwell due to <a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/malaria"><strong>malaria</strong></a>.</p>
<p>In a lighthearted moment, they even joked about how a cash transfer could serve as a cure for the illness in no time.</p>
<p>However, less than 50 minutes after the call, @Adamthallith received a shocking message from his uncle informing him that his friend had been <strong>rushed to the hospital</strong> but did not survive.</p>
<p>Sharing his pain, he wrote:<br /><em>“Bruh &#x1f494;. I spoke to my friend 47 mins ago on my uncle’s phone, and my uncle just texted me now that my friend is dead. God &#x1f494;&#x1f494;&#x1f494;&#x1f494;&#x1f494;.”</em></p>
<p>Alongside a screenshot of his chat with his uncle, he added:<br /><em>“Bruh, why is life like this &#x1f494;&#x1f494;&#x1f494;. Bro said he has malaria and I said once I send Ramadan money malaria will go, we banter each other, laugh and I hang up to break and pray magrib, I pray finish see message say he don die.”</em></p>
