Community Engagement Manager is the lead for undergraduate recruitment and community engagement strategy&comma; development and execution within the Faculty of Computer Science&period;<br &sol;>&NewLine; <br &sol;> <b>Key Responsibilities<&sol;b> <&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li>Develop strategies and activities relating to domestic and international undergraduate recruitment and acts as an ambassador for the Faculty by creating meaningful partnerships with the K-12 education system and community organizations&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Develop and manage all aspects of on-campus recruitment events&comma; and represent the Faculty of Computer Science at events which may include&comma; but not limited to school fairs&comma; community events&comma; campus visits&comma; classroom visits&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Develop and execute country and region-specific recruitment strategies to align with the unique wants&comma; needs and barriers of existing and emerging recruitment markets&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Implement&comma; deliver&comma; and evaluate one-to-one communications strategies for prospective students that might include inquiry follow-ups&comma; surveys&comma; phonation&comma; writing letters to counselors and students&comma; and hosting focus groups&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>In alignment with the Faculty&&num;8217&semi;s EDIA goals&comma; develop focused recruitment strategies and plans to diversify the incoming class utilizing communications&comma; marketing&comma; community outreach&comma; events and scholarships&period; Diversification should focus on women&comma; Indigenous and African Nova Scotian&sol;African Canadian students&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Develop a strategy to identify&comma; create and amplify partnerships with community organizations that align with the Faculty of Computer Science missions and values with the goal of brand building and student recruitment&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<p> <b>Note<&sol;b><&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> The successful applicant will be eligible for hybrid work &lpar;combination of in-person work on campus and remote work&rpar; ideally in business&comma; marketing&comma; or related field&comma; plus a minimum of three to five years&&num;8217&semi; relevant experience in recruitment&comma; sales or a business development role &lpar;or equivalent combination of training and experience&rpar;&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Strong social media skills as well as experience in public speaking&comma; event planning&comma; marketing&comma; and&sol;or project oversight&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Must have demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication &lpar;verbal and written&rpar; skills&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<li>Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently and strategically are required&period;<&sol;li>&NewLine;<&sol;ul>&NewLine;<p> <b>Assets<&sol;b> <&sol;p>&NewLine;<ul>&NewLine;<li>Experience in a post-secondary environment&comma;
