Job description: The University of Manchester has recently received funding from the EPSRC to manage the UK Robotics and Autonomous Systems Network (UK-RAS). UK-RAS was established in 2015 with the aim of providing academic leadership in robotics and autonomous systems (RAS), expanding collaboration with industry and co-ordinating academic activities in this research field. The Network currently has 37 partner universities across the UK.

The UK-RAS Project Manager will be located in Manchester and will be responsible for providing project management services and support to the UK-RAS Network. The postholder will be a key point of contact for stakeholder engagement, in particular with external stakeholders, including funding bodies, industry and the 37 university members of UK-RAS. It is expected that the postholder will be responsible for a broad range of activities including organising and attending events in the UK and potentially internationally, managing finances and establishing suitable processes for the distribution of funds to partner universities to support UK-RAS activities.
