A Nigerian man residing in the United Kingdom has taken to social media to express deep regret after being thrown out of the house by his wife.
In a now-viral video on TikTok, the man revealed that he relocated abroad through his wife, who sponsored his move as a dependent.
According to him, everything changed suddenly after his wife arrived in the U.K. from London and allegedly turned against him.
She eventually kicked him out, leaving him homeless and struggling to survive.
Narrating his ordeal, he said: “My wife stays in London. She was the one that brought me here as a dependent. All of a sudden, she came here and turned into something else.”
“She pushed me out of the house. I told my brother in Lagos what was going on, and he said I shouldn’t worry—he would connect me with one of our brothers here.”
“I got the contact, called him, and he brought me to this place. He paid for a one-room apartment for a month on the 8th of last month, but now the rent has expired.”
He ended his emotional message with a strong note of regret: “If I had known I’d find myself in this condition, I wouldn’t have come here. I would have managed myself back in Nigeria.”
