<p><strong>China</strong> has accused U.S. President Donald Trump of worsening the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, saying he is “pouring oil” on the flames of war.</p>
<p>On Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun criticized <strong>Trump’s</strong> recent remarks, saying they inflame conflict rather than promote peace.</p>
<p><em>“Fanning the flames, pouring oil, making threats and mounting pressure will not help to promote the de-escalation of the situation, but will only intensify and widen the conflict,” </em>Guo said during a press briefing in Beijing.</p>
<p>Trump, through a post on his Truth Social platform, urged Iranians to “immediately evacuate Tehran” following Israel’s surprise aerial strikes on Iranian military and nuclear targets last week.</p>
<p>Israel <strong>said its military offensive aimed to only stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons</strong>, a claim Tehran denies.</p>
<p>The violence has severely disrupted ongoing talks, prompting Trump to call for an immediate return to negotiations while warning of dire consequences if the conflict continues.</p>
<p>China, which maintains close diplomatic and economic relations with both Iran and Israel, urged all influential nations especially those with sway over Israel to act responsibly and work toward calming the crisis.</p>
<p><em>“The Chinese side calls on all relevant parties, especially countries with special influence on Israel, to shoulder their responsibilities, take immediate measures to de-escalate tensions, and prevent the conflict from spreading,” </em>Guo added.</p>
<p>Separately, China’s embassy in Israel issued a security alert on Tuesday, advising Chinese citizens to evacuate the country “as soon as possible” due to the rising violence.</p>
<p>“<em>The Chinese mission in Israel reminds Chinese nationals to leave the country as soon as possible via land border crossings, provided they can guarantee their personal safety</em>,” the embassy said in a statement on WeChat, recommending travel through Jordan.</p>
<p><em>“It is recommended to depart in the direction of Jordan</em>,” it added.</p>
<p>The embassy cited ongoing military operations, extensive damage to infrastructure, and growing civilian casualties as reasons for the urgent advisory.</p>
