<p>The football star’s gesture was delivered through European Council President Antonio Costa, who presented the jersey to Trump during the recent G7 summit in Canada.</p>
<p>The shirt featured a handwritten message from Ronaldo that read: “To President Donald J. Trump. Playing for peace.”</p>
<p>Trump and Costa were photographed together holding the jersey, with the message clearly visible on the back.</p>
<p>Though Ronaldo has not made any public comment on the matter, the move is seen as a symbolic call for diplomatic efforts in the Middle East.</p>
<p>The message comes at a time of heightened conflict between Israel and Iran.</p>
<p>Trump, who has remained vocal about the situation, told reporters at the G7 summit that his administration is working towards a resolution.</p>
<p>“We’re not looking for a ceasefire, we’re looking at better than a ceasefire,” Trump said.</p>
<p>He also posted on social media, “We will have PEACE, soon, between Israel and Iran! Many calls and meetings now taking place.”</p>
<p>Before leaving the summit early, Trump issued a two-day warning to Iran to halt its nuclear activities, but offered no details on the consequences if the demand was ignored.</p>
