What we are looking for:
- CPA-CA, CGA, or CMA or lawyer
- 1 to 4 years’ experience in a tax manager role working with private businesses, their owners and families with the following experience and skills:
- Reviewing tax returns for Canadian-controlled private corporations (“CCPC”), partnerships and trusts.
- Personal and corporate tax planning specifically focused on CCPCs, family trusts, their owners and families.
- Very good drafting skills.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities including ingenuity, analytical skills and creativity.
- Possess very good tax technical skills and a fine attention to detail.
- Computer proficient; knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Caseware, TaxPrep, TaxnetPro or similar tax research software.
- CICA In-Depth Tax Course or Master of Taxation in progress or completed.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to organize, prepare and clearly communicate information to our clients and team.
- Able to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Training of junior team members; and
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
