<p> Shorelines Casino Peterborough is currently seeking a driven and energetic individual to join our team as a Part-time Surveillance Operator. This this position is responsible for monitoring interior and exterior areas of the property by closed circuit television cameras and maintaining visual records while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.</p>
<p><b>Duties and Responsibilities Include:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Exceeds guest expectations by providing outstanding customer service</li>
<li>Helps create an engaged work environment by choosing positivity and fun, recognizing excellent peer performance, and by caring about and supporting our colleagues every day</li>
<li>Monitors, documents and reports violations, large cash/cash equivalents transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access; reports violations to the Supervisor, Surveillance</li>
<li>Maintains logs and records</li>
<li>Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments</li>
<li>Builds strong working relationships with guests and employees</li>
<li>Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned or directed.</li>
<li>Protection of company assets and patrons; both internal and external</li>
<li>Protection of gaming integrity for GCGC and the province of Ontario</li>
<li>Strict adherence to the Surveillance code of conduct and mandate</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>People-focused and committed to service excellence</li>
<li>Proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed</li>
<li>Secondary School Diploma</li>
<li>Post-Secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience is considered an asset</li>
<li>Ability to obtain and maintain a Gaming License</li>
</ul>
