About the role

Join the Enterprise Architecture and Advanced Analytics team as a Specialist, Intelligent Automation (RPA) Solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for building the portfolio of process-driven initiatives and overseeing its successful delivery. The role is a key link between the Intelligent Automation Team, external consultants, vendors, and business partners to ensure effective solutions are developed, tested, and deployed. You will provide Intelligent Automation / Robotics Subject Matter Expertise to contribute to the maturity of automation capabilities and achieve the program goals through business and digital transformation.

What you’ll do:

  • Identify Intelligent Automation opportunities and strategies that will meet business needs and targets, and lead the documentation of requirements needed to carry out the solution.
  • Work with the Intelligent Automation team to understand the current business processes/ applications and subsequently design and develop Robotic process flows and objects to automate business processes.
  • Responsible for issue resolution and, as required, escalate issues/barriers and findings to improve decision-making, ensure achievement of timelines and successful delivery of the Intelligent Automation processes.
  • Work with Lines of Business and the Process Design and Optimization team to gather the requirements to create Process design document (PDD).
  • Analyze the business requirements from a technical perspective and create Solution design documents (SDD) that include technical process flow, UI design patterns, APIs, external databases, reporting, credential vaulting, use of storage buckets, assets, queue, etc.
  • Identify associated risks, its mitigation and provide effort estimations for the development of solutions.
  • Develop, test, and deploy automated robots to production, and provide maintenance and support.
  • Create and maintain source code and DevOps pipelines to work cohesively to build and deploy code to the production environment with Azure DevOps and Git.

What you should have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, robotics, or a related field combined with five (5) years of relevant work experience in process design and automation, and/or business process automation.
  • Three (3) years of development experience in UiPath and Power Platform tools (such as Power Automate and Power Apps) to create intuitive and efficient process automation.
  • Experience leading the technical planning and requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, testing, and deployment of RPA robots.
  • A strong knowledge of automation design principles and configuration, development, testing and solution deployment, with an ability and willingness to learn new automation tools (e.g., Document Understanding, OCR, chatbots, AI, ML, etc.).
  • Experience in deploying frameworks, best development practices and standardization for RPA development.
  • Exposure to Robotic Enterprise Framework, Object repositories, Document Understanding, AI Center, libraries, and knowledge of RPA infrastructure.
  • Effective communication, presentation and influencing skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and succinctly in a variety of settings and styles as well as communicating messages at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills which drive creativity and innovation, as well as a strong ability to work on several initiatives simultaneously and work within tight deadlines.

It would be great if you also had:

  • Experience in programming languages like Python, JAVA, or C#.
  • A Microsoft Power Automate RPA Developer (PL-500) certification.
  • A UiPath RPA Associate (UiRPA) or UiPath Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD) certification.
