<p><b>Job description</b>: Full Time Day 8am &#8211; 4:30pm; On-Call Rotation</p>
<p> The Skilled Maintenance Worker is responsible for providing specific routine, preventive and corrective maintenance of community grounds and property to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors while providing cost effective maintenance programs.</p>
<p> <b>Qualifications:</b><br />
 </p>
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li>
<li>Two years of related experience preferred</li>
<li>Formal or on-the-job training in plumbing, electrical, painting, maintenance, carpentry and general repair preferred</li>
<li>Valid Driver’s License required</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Expectations and Responsibilities:</b><br />
 </p>
<ul>
<li>Repairs and maintains physical structure and systems of community.</li>
<li>Maintains community grounds; may include lawn mowing, trimming, snow removal.</li>
<li>Completes all assigned maintenance work orders.</li>
<li>Repairs and maintains electrical and utility systems.</li>
<li>Performs preventative maintenance.</li>
<li>Maintains safety systems, such as: fire alarms, nurse call systems, security).</li>
<li>Able to work independently or as part of a team.</li>
<li>Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions.</li>
<li>Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve.</li>
</ul>
