Granicus is looking for a Senior Implementation Consultant. This role lives within the customer experience arm of the Granicus’ Digital Communications and Engagement Implementation Team. This team enables our government clients (government agencies) on our community engagement platform, partnering with customers to enhance the way that government organizations support their communities through engagement.

This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for helping government agencies connect with their communities to achieve their strategic objectives. Your role starts at project kick-off by providing the client with a project plan, oversight of discovery, and requirements gathering. You’ll configure their community engagement site and provide or coordinate appropriate training for their implementation – ensuring customers are both enabled and encouraged to utilize the system to its fullest potential. Expert product knowledge, attention to detail, versatility, and enthusiasm for client success are cornerstones for this role.

Please note, due to the networks and access this position has, candidates need to be able to obtain a Canadian government security clearance at the ‘Secret’ level if selected for this role. Therefore candidates must be Canadian citizens to be considered for this position. \n

What your impact will look like here:

  • Project Leadership: Manage complex, mission-driven government software implementation projects for public sector clients, overseeing scope, maintaining decks and documentation, and establishing timelines
  • •Customer-Centric Guidance: Offer expertise as a trusted advisor, anticipating customer needs based on data and best practices.
  • •Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate across diverse teams to optimize customer service delivery and ensure quality assurance.
  • •Empower Team and Communication: Enable project teams with effective communication plans for timely task completion.
  • •Stakeholder Reporting: Prepare and present project progress reports for key stakeholders.
  • •Process Improvement Advocacy: Champion improved service delivery processes and oversee documentation for team enablement.

You’ll love this job if you have / can:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Software Implementation program/project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven record of accomplishment in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and trend analysis to identify opportunities and areas of improvement.
  • Knowledge of project management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to manage conflict and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage complex, multi-faceted projects.
  • Experience gathering information about product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to identify areas of improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Proactive and data-driven.
  • Ensure timely and thorough communication of strategy, deliverable status, and results.
  • Proven ability to flex between the technical and business sides of your brain – engineers and cross-functional team members alike love to work with you.
  • Collaborate with multiple cross-functional teams to build and evaluate business cases to support product investment decisions
  • Excellent communications skills – listening, verbal, and written
  • Drive your team’s success, and are a self-starter

Strongly preferred if you:

  • Have served as a program manager for high-touch clients
  • Hold an IAP2 Certification or have community engagement experience
  • Have experience working for or with municipal or provincial government
  • Are experienced working with remote teams
  • Are fluent in Canadian English and French is preferred

Security Requirement:

  • Please note, due to the networks and access this position has, candidates must be able to obtain a Canadian government security clearance at the ‘Secret’ level if selected for this role. Therefore to be considered for this position, candidates must have Canadian Citizenship, 10 years of Canadian residency status, and pass an in-depth, government sponsored background check.
  • Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company’s information security program.
