What we are looking to hire:
We are seeking a Senior Director – Sales to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for media and technology, a deep understanding of media agencies and brand relationships, as well as established relationships with major brands and agencies in the Travel vertical. In this role, you will report to the Vice President, Sales and support our growing sales organization through high-impact leadership, operational execution, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement. This is a highly visible role internally and externally in which you will partner cross-functionally to drive efficiency and performance improvement. You will define, support, and implement global sales initiatives designed to achieve global bookings and revenue objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
Define strategy for growing ADARA’s business in the Travel vertical at a global scale
Partner with the marketing organizations, media agencies and brands in identifying growth opportunities to boost new business
Develop and implement strategic sales strategies designed to achieve overall business objectives and financial targets
Work with internal teams to define lead-gen goals and lead qualification process
Drive overall forecast effectiveness, pipeline management, and metrics with the direct team. Communicate trends and action items to the executive team
Assist team to take the deals over the finish line by helping with deal structuring and negotiation
Manage day-to-day sales team priorities, deliverables, and timelines
Develop, mentor, and coach the sales organization
Perform in-depth analysis for significant sales initiatives and programs, proactively identifying trends, problems, and process improvement opportunities
Work cross-functionally with business partners to communicate sales objectives, articulate systems requirements, and collaborate on process improvements
Act and represent Adara as a thought leader at conferences and events, as well as present when necessary
Required Experience:
- Proven by track record of driving sales growth initiatives for commercially successful companies
- Proven negotiation skills and success in driving customer satisfaction and relationships forward.
- Deep understanding of:
- Media agency landscape
- Brand Marketing initiatives
- Current trends with privacy and data regulations
- Advertising & Marketing technologies
- 10+ years of experience working with advertising media agencies
- Deep understanding of advertising landscape (programmatic, social, search, DOOH and CTV) and marketing solutions
- Experience selling complex data & analytic products
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work collaboratively; and adapt to evolving needs of a growing company
- Willingness to travel to engage with customers/partners and for conferences
