<p><b>Overview:</b></p>
<p> Our Ontario government client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Specialized IT Consultant specializing in Clinical Terminology. The successful candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing clinical terminologies, with a focus on SNOMED CT and LOINC. This role is integral to ensuring the effective application of digital exchange standards within Ontario Health.</p>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<p> Clinical Terminology Implementation:</p>
<p> Utilize a minimum of 10 years&#8217; hands-on experience in mapping and implementing clinical terminologies, including SNOMED CT and LOINC.</p>
<p> Lead the implementation of clinical terminologies to enhance healthcare data exchange.</p>
<p> Digital Exchange Standards:</p>
<p> Demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of digital exchange standards, especially FHIR, and their application within Ontario Health.</p>
<p> Ensure alignment with pan-Canadian digital exchange standards and associated tooling.</p>
<p> Clinical Expertise:</p>
<p> Bring clinical experience within Canada in acute care, primary care, and/or community care settings.</p>
<p> Leverage clinical insights to optimize terminology implementations.</p>
<p> Terminology Services and Solutions:</p>
<p> Apply hands-on experience in implementing terminology services and solutions.</p>
<p> Contribute to the continuous improvement of terminology-related processes.</p>
<p> Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:</p>
<p> Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</p>
<p> Engage effectively with stakeholders to understand clinical requirements and convey technical information.</p>
<p> Time Management:</p>
<p> Showcase strong time management skills, with the ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize multiple projects.</p>
<p> Ensure timely delivery of terminology-related initiatives.</p>
<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<p> Minimum of 10 years&#8217; hands-on experience in mapping and implementing clinical terminologies such as SNOMED CT and LOINC.</p>
<p> Clinical experience within Canada in acute care, primary care, and/or community care settings.</p>
<p> Extensive knowledge of digital exchange standards, including FHIR, and pan-Canadian standards.</p>
<p> Hands-on experience implementing terminology services and solutions.</p>
<p> Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.</p>
<p> Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.</p>
