Our Engineering Recruiter is accountable for:
- Sourcing & recruiting qualified Engineering talent (Mid to Senior level)
- In Canada: (Piping & Electrical Designers, Mechanical Engineers, Procurement Roles)
- In the USA (Project Engineers, Designers, Lab Tech & Admin roles)
- Being able to manage 8-15 requisitions at one time
- 8-12+ reqs in Canada
- To work on as needed reqs in the USA
- Being able to communicate with hiring managers to find the best solution for their needs (in person launch call)
- Meet & greet the candidates at the gate, escort them to the managers office & sometimes sit in on the interviews
- Growing revenue & profitability for your portfolio of business
- Creating, managing candidate pipelines, and assessing candidate qualifications
- Reviewing & prioritizing candidate activity including pre-screens and interviews
- Negotiating and closing candidates with offers and confirming their starts
- Actively networking (career fairs etc.) within the local Engineering market
Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of 3+ years’ experience within Staffing/Corporate Recruiting (ideally Engineering recruiting & sourcing talent (but not mandatory))
- Recruiting contract & direct hire candidates is strongly preferred
- Experience in recruiting processes (can show proven success in the recruiting process: sourcing, qualification, placement process, and closing temporary/contract & fulltime candidates
- Having a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Bullhorn, LinkedIn, Indeed all nice to haves
- Driven to succeed – solutions oriented
- Teammate who embodies the Kelly team first
- Excellent verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills
