Former English player and manager, Glenn Hoddle, has provided the major reason Tottenham Hotspur were beaten by Chelsea in the Premier League on Monday.

Chelsea ended Tottenham’s unbeaten run in the Premier League with a 4-0 win at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Spurs played with 9 men for the majority of the game after Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were sent off in the 33rd and 55th minutes respectively.

Chelsea made most of their numerical advantage with goals from Cole Palmer and a hat-trick from Nicolas Jackson.

The Blues have now entered the top side of the Premier League table for the first time this season.

Manchester City remain top of the league table with 2 points ahead of Tottenham in second place while Arsenal are third.

“My early question, the big question is, I said it at half-time, they continue to play the highline on the halfway.” Hoddle said on Premier League Productions monitored by KemiFilani.

“And I said Chelsea would pick them up and that’s exactly what happened…that was too easy for Chelsea…they played right into their hands.”
