Job description: Adecco is currently assisting recruiting for a Permit Expediter to work in New Bedford, Massachusetts. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity paying $22 – $26 hourly. In this role you will be responsible for tracking required building permits for installation projects across the northeast and providing timely status updates to all stakeholders. Hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and a high school diploma and MS Office skills are required. Other requirements and duties include:
- 2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to react quickly in situations.
- High level negotiation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects in a fast-paced environment and to know the status is of all items in each project at all times.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as: customer project scope, municipalities zoning code and drawing elevations.
- Knowledge of basic math skills.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Manufacturing knowledge a plus.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
