<p> <b>Job Description</b><br />
 </p>
<ul>
<li>You will work on-site to manage the cost of projects by ensuring that costs are kept within the budget, by using cost-effective methods while still meeting all quality and safety requirements.</li>
<li>You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing cost estimates, and planning and reviewing cost reports throughout the project cycle.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Key Responsibilities</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors. Analyze project specifications and drawings to identify potential cost-saving measures.</li>
<li>Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks related to cost and provide strategies for risk mitigation. Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.</li>
<li>Cost Monitoring: Monitor project costs against budget, identifying and addressing any deviations. Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and validate costs.</li>
<li>Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for construction projects, tracking costs and expenditures throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular financial reports to project stakeholders.</li>
<li>Contract Administration: Administer construction contracts, ensuring that both parties adhere to contractual obligations. Handle variations and claims, resolving disputes in a fair and timely manner.</li>
<li>Value Engineering: Collaborate with project teams to identify opportunities for value engineering, proposing cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>Qualifications</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.</li>
<li>3 – 5 years experience.</li>
<li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Professional certification in Quantity Surveying or related field is a plus</li>
<li>Cost Control, Cost Planning, and Cost Management skills.</li>
<li>Experience in creating Bills of Quantities (BoQ)</li>
<li>Cost Reporting skills</li>
<li>Knowledge of construction regulations and safety standards.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.</li>
</ul>
