MassWildlife is seeking an experienced&comma; dependable&comma; detail-oriented&comma; and highly motivated communications professional&period; The ideal candidate is a strong creative writer who has a background in wildlife conservation and management&comma; and outdoor recreation who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under tight deadlines&period; Responsibilities include promoting MassWildlife programs&comma; services&comma; products&comma; and events to appropriate constituent groups including but not limited to&colon; hunting and fishing groups&comma; conservation organizations&comma; municipal entities&comma; outdoor recreation and tourism groups&comma; natural resource professionals&comma; educators&comma; and state and federal agencies&period; The Outreach and Marketing Coordinator works with other staff to develop and implement strategies to raise public awareness of MassWildlife&comma; Develop&comma; implement&comma; and evaluate communication strategies to educate constituents about wildlife conservation&comma; increase MassWildlife’s relevance to the general public&comma; and recruit&comma; retain&comma; and reactivate hunters and anglers&period;<&sol;p>&NewLine;<p> &CenterDot; Serve as the primary social media manager for the agency’s Facebook and Instagram accounts&semi; Assist with the development of the digital content calendar for all digital channels&semi; Solicit input from agency staff to create and refresh content&semi; Deliver exceptional customer service when answering public inquiries received through social media&semi; Implement best practices for social media strategies to support MassWildlife’s communication goals&semi;
