<p>Nigerian striker <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/victor-osimhen" rel="noopener"><strong>Victor Osimhen</strong></a> has reportedly made the decision to join <strong>Chelsea</strong> at the end of the season.</p>
<p>According to CBS Sports. Osimhen, who is currently representing Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), desires to play for Chelsea.</p>
<p>While Osimhen’s departure from <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/?s=napoli" rel="noopener"><strong>Napoli</strong></a> during the January transfer window has been ruled out, it is widely anticipated that he will leave the Italian club in the summer.</p>
<p>Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed this, stating that he “knew” Osimhen would depart in the upcoming transfer window.</p>

<p>Despite Osimhen’s reported preference for Chelsea, any move will depend on negotiations between the London club and Napoli.</p>
<p>Osimhen recently extended his contract with the Naples based club, which includes a release clause of over £100 million, meaning Chelsea will have to table a lot of cash for the potential swoop come this summer.</p>
