<p><strong>Chelsea</strong> manager <a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/enzo-maresca"><strong>Enzo Maresca</strong></a> has left out four high-profile players from his squad for the FIFA Club World Cup, which kicks off this weekend in the United States.</p>
<p>Among those omitted are £150 million worth of talent, including Raheem Sterling and Joao Felix.</p>
<p>Sterling, who endured a disappointing loan spell at Arsenal last season, will not travel with the team.</p>
<p>Felix, a £45 million signing who recently spent time on loan at AC Milan, is also excluded.</p>
<p>Defender Axel Disasi, who ended last season at Aston Villa, has also been left out.</p>
<p>In a more unexpected move, goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has been dropped despite being tipped to step up following Chelsea’s failed bid for AC Milan’s Mike Maignan.</p>
<p>Chelsea are set to face LAFC in the group stage, with further matches against Flamengo and Tunisian champions Esperance.</p>
