Midland Transport is looking for a motivated individual to work as a Rate Agent Representative based out of our Head Office Location in Dieppe, NB.
We are looking for someone detail-oriented with the ambition to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.
Qualifications:
- You have minimum High school Diploma
- You have a minimum 2 years of customer service experience preferably in a call center environment
- You fluent in both official languages English and French
- You have excellent communication skills with strong attention to details
- You can multitask and navigate between multiple software applications simultaneously while ensuring you continue to support the customer at the same time
- You are strong Microsoft Suite user
- You are able to troubleshoot problems and follow through to resolution
- You have proficient mathematical aptitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate spot rate quotes for Courier and Transport Services through inbound calls and emails
- Follow-up with existing customers who require assistance in understanding their rate agreements
- Support booking orders for domestic and International LTL, TL, and Courier shipments
- Communicate with Sales and Pricing Department
- Actively support other team members
- Take ownership of your daily tasks and performance
