<p> Midland Transport is looking for a motivated individual to work as a Rate Agent Representative based out of our Head Office Location in Dieppe, NB.</p>
<p> We are looking for someone detail-oriented with the ambition to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.</p>
<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>You have minimum High school Diploma</li>
<li>You have a minimum 2 years of customer service experience preferably in a call center environment</li>
<li>You fluent in both official languages English and French</li>
<li>You have excellent communication skills with strong attention to details</li>
<li>You can multitask and navigate between multiple software applications simultaneously while ensuring you continue to support the customer at the same time</li>
<li>You are strong Microsoft Suite user</li>
<li>You are able to troubleshoot problems and follow through to resolution</li>
<li>You have proficient mathematical aptitude</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide accurate spot rate quotes for Courier and Transport Services through inbound calls and emails</li>
<li>Follow-up with existing customers who require assistance in understanding their rate agreements</li>
<li>Support booking orders for domestic and International LTL, TL, and Courier shipments</li>
<li>Communicate with Sales and Pricing Department</li>
<li>Actively support other team members</li>
<li>Take ownership of your daily tasks and performance</li>
</ul>
