<p> We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Freight Forwarding Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic team in Saint John, NB. This position will be located at 300 Union St. with the primary focus on delivering superior value and performance to our customers.</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities Include:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Manage the day-to-day pricing &; quotation requirements for our customers</li>
<li>Develop &; maintain carrier and service-partner relationships</li>
<li>Develop proactive solutions to optimize supply chain and achieve cost-savings for customers</li>
<li>Negotiate rates with carriers for various lanes and modes of transport (Air/Ocean/rail/road)</li>
<li>Anticipates business and industry trends to find ways for potential gain</li>
<li>Work closely with the customers, service-partners and logistics team to ensure efficient operations and to meet required deadlines</li>
<li>On-call rotation required</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Successful completion of an undergraduate degree is considered an asset.</li>
<li>Minimum 3 years’ experience in the transportation industry is preferred, with a focus on Freight Forwarding and Global Trade. We will provide additional training for the right candidate.</li>
<li>Strong Negotiation Skills</li>
<li>Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)</li>
<li>Customer-focused attitude to execute on customer commitments and develop business with new customers.</li>
<li>Organized, detail-oriented – excellent follow-up skills are essential</li>
<li>Problem Solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple priorities</li>
<li>Thrives in a fast-paced environment</li>
</ul>
