<p><a target="_blank" href="http://gistreel.com/tag/Nigerians"><strong>Nigerians</strong></a> have filed a class action lawsuit against popular network provider <strong>MTN</strong> over alleged rapid data depletion and false data top-ups.</p>
<p>The move gained attention after a post surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), where a user expressed interest in joining any legal action against MTN.</p>

<p>“<em>Too happy &; available to join a class action against MTN Nigeria</em>,” he wrote, attaching a screenshot that appeared to show unexplained data usage.</p>
<p>Shortly after the post gained traction, a link to a Google Form was shared, allowing other affected users to join the lawsuit.</p>
<p>The form reads in part: <em>“This class action lawsuit addresses the victims of MTN, a network provider, who have experienced issues with false data top-ups and rapid data drainage.”</em></p>
<p>It continued: <em>“As a result, many Nigerians are spending money without receiving adequate value in return, especially when compared to the proper use of data and costs in other countries.”</em></p>
<p>As the post circulated widely, many Nigerians flooded the comment section, sharing similar experiences and expressing support for the legal action.</p>
