<p><strong><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/newcastle-united" rel="noopener">Newcastle United</a></strong> have reportedly turned down a bid from <strong><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/?s=bayern+munich" rel="noopener">Bayern Munich</a></strong> for their player <strong><a target="_blank" href="https://gistreel.com/tag/kieran-trippier" rel="noopener">Kieran Trippier</a></strong>.</p>
<p>The <strong>German club</strong>, in search of a new right-back, had offered £12 million for the England defender, but the Magpies are insisting on their decision to keep him at St James’ Park.</p>
<p>Reports from The Athletic has it that Newcastle is resolute that Trippier will not be sold this month and that the player himself respects the club’s decision.</p>
<p>However, it is unclear if Bayern included German international Joshua Kimmich in the deal, a player admired by Newcastle boss Eddie Howe.</p>
