Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr have reportedly tabled a lucrative €18 million-per-year offer for the services of sacked Italy coach Luciano Spalletti.

Spalletti was relieved of his duties after a dismal start to Italy’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign, which saw the Azzurri suffer a 3-0 defeat to Norway and scrape a 2-0 win over Moldova.

His exit, confirmed during an unusual press conference just before Italy’s final match, left the national side without a successor in place.

Despite the abrupt dismissal, interest in Spalletti’s expertise remains high.

According to sources, Al-Nassr initiated contact with the former Napoli boss on Sunday, hours after his public departure announcement.

The Saudi club, led by Cristiano Ronaldo on the pitch, is said to be offering a two-year contract worth a staggering €36 million in total.

If he accepts, Spalletti would succeed Stefano Pioli, who only took the helm at Al-Nassr in September 2024 but is reportedly eager for a return to Serie A, with Fiorentina tipped as a likely destination.
