<p><b>Job description</b>: REMOTE JOB | PART TIME TO FULL TIME | FLEXI HOURS: Medical Assistant for remote patient care &#8211; bilingual prefered (EN/SP)</p>
<p> Lara Health is currently in search of a bilingual (English/Spanish) Medical Assistant or a Nurse for our Remote Patient Monitoring program, to join our lovely care team and provide patients with care virtually. Min 20/hours a week required, full time prefered. Must be US based.</p>
<p> COMPENSATION: $20/hour plus performace bonuses, contract</p>
<p> THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE POSTION WITH FLEXIBLE DAYS AND HOURS. MIN 5 YEAR EXPERIENCE IN CARING FOR CHRONIC CONDITION PATIENTS (PREFFERABLY IN PRIMARY CARE/DIABETES/CARDIOLOGY)</p>
<p> Join us for the chance to be part of an amazing team and a great place to work! The Medical Assistant or LPN assists providers with ongoing patient monitoring and chronic care management, with the folloowing duties:</p>
<p> â Responsible for monitoring patient blood pressure, blood sugar, and other vitals, helping them with meds, keep MD visits etc.</p>
<p> â Communicate with patients on regular basis, helping them make lifestyle changes in order to improve their long term health</p>
<p> â Maintain patient electronic medical record (EMR).</p>
<p><b>â Performs other duties as assigned.</b></p>
<p> Specific skills and experience required:</p>
<p> â Passion for working with (older) patients, customer service skills</p>
<p> â Min 5 years experience as MA or nurse</p>
<p> â Preventative patient care background preffered, experience in primary care, cardiology or diabetes clinic highly desired</p>
<p> â Work independently and with a team</p>
<p> â Organizational and time management skills</p>
<p> â Computer skills appropriate to position, you will need your own computer and a reliable internet service</p>
<p> â Written and verbal communication skills, administrative and clerical skills, critical thinking</p>
<p> â Medical terminology use and understanding</p>
<p> Certification &; Licensure mandatory:</p>
<p> â Approved Medical Assistant Certification required</p>
<p> â Or EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)</p>
<p> â Or NREMT (Nationally Recognized Emergency Medical Technician);</p>
<p> â Or Paramedic</p>
<p> â Or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)</p>
<p><b>Education:</b></p>
<p> â Required High School or Equivalent</p>
<p> â Preferred Technical Medical Assistant</p>

<p> This position would be ideal for someone looking to work intensively with patients and who is well organized and able to commit to a min 20 hours a week. Each position starts as a PT and has the option to go up to 40 hours a week (FT)</p>
