ROLE OVERVIEW:

As Medical Affairs Professional (MAP) for Oncology you will coordinate, drive and deliver Medical Affairs operational excellence through the integration of medical plans and activities within the broader brand plan. You will also be leading medical affairs related projects, independently or in collaboration with the relevant medical affairs functions (CRPs, CRSs, Medical Education Associates and Medical Leadership). Working closely with the cross-functional team such as LCMS, E&C, finance and local agencies in UK.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

You will be responsible for several important aspects to facilitate our processes for internal coordination, operational excellence of our plans and external Thought Leader (TL) experience.

Medical Affairs Team Support

Facilitate administrative aspects of named patient programs if appropriate (e.g. liaising with global resupplies)

Contribute to the operational dimensions of the local medical activities and procedures.

Oversee and drive planning, execution and follow-up in the TL MaP tool and other medical metrics to ensure effective and comprehensive internal coordination, operational excellence, and excellent external TL experience.

Support and coordinate the planning, documentation & implementation of medical led activities (RWE projects, symposia, advisory boards, consultancies, scientific exchange and educational events with HCP’s activities), leading on key elements as defined by the MA team.

Originator for Veeva materials, facilitating efficient and timely approval of medical and MEA materials.

Coordinate interaction with third parties e.g. medical writers, content development agencies and others

Medical Affairs Operational excellence and Project Leadership

Lead Medical Affairs related projects that drive productivity, digitalization, optimization and improve the overall impact and efficiency of the Medical Affairs team.

Project leadership of MA activities.

Respond and coordinate to external customer questions and needs related to Lilly owned activities and contracting (e.g. IMA requests).

Develop and maintain collaborations and relationships with relevant professional societies.

Collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvement in customer engagement through Digital innovation.

Own PO management and coordinate periodic opex follow up with Hub Finance and BM.

Monitor and track performance of the key processes (keep oversight of OPEX and BAPS, IITs and sponsorships, medical plans and over CET-tool and calendar.

Possess good coordination skills and project management capabilities to deliver timely and accurate results on relevant deliverables.

Be proactive and drive projects and tasks forward, make things happen.

Have strong inter-personal skills, analytical mindset, and ability to understand complex processes.

Be a true team player, able to partner cross functionally with Medical, Marketing, Compliance, Legal etc.

Have a solid compliance mind set and demonstrated integrity on the job.

Be digital savvy and have good capabilities in Windows office package.

Ideally have Bachelors/master’s level degree in health or life sciences fields.

Be fluent in English (speaking and writing)

Have UK work rights.
