DESCRIPTION
The Market of Choice Cheese Shops are a high-energy, team-oriented environment that create an inviting in-store experience with friendly, knowledgeable, and customer service oriented Specialty Cheese teammates. Prepare for a high-energy, team-oriented environment! This position starts at $18.75/hour – $23.75/hour, depending on experience.
DUTIES
As an Assistant Specialty Cheese Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in purchasing, merchandising & expense control
- Assisting customers in selection and recommendations
- Keeping current and continually expanding knowledge of cheese
- Conduct events
- Organizing, stocking and facing of the department
- Monthly & Quarterly inventory
- Checking in deliveries/ logging of all invoices daily
- Enforce company policy & procedures
- General cleaning and maintenance of sales area
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates will have an extensive knowledge of a wide variety of hand crafted and artisan cheeses from around the world, superior customer service skills and a strong sales ability including suggestive selling techniques.
