Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has weighed in on the transfer rumours surrounding defenders Tosin Adarabioyo and Axel Disasi in the January window.

Brighton & Hove Albion have expressed interest in London-born Nigerian center-back Tosin Adarabioyo.

However, there are currently no active negotiations for Tosin to join Brighton or any other club.

Meanwhile, Axel Disasi has reportedly caught the attention of Bundesliga and Serie A clubs, though no concrete developments have emerged either.

Chelsea’s defensive issues have complicated the situation.

Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile remain sidelined with hamstring injuries, forcing the Blues to recall Trevoh Chalobah from his loan spell at Crystal Palace last week.

These circumstances raise doubts about the likelihood of either Tosin or Disasi departing Stamford Bridge.

Addressing the situation, Maresca clarified Chelsea’s stance: “At the moment, they are both with us.

“The intention is not to allow them to go, but we are in January, and anything can happen,” he told The Standard.

Tosin has been a key figure for Chelsea this season, making 18 appearances and scoring three goals, equaling his best-ever tally in a single season.
