<p> <b>ABOUT THE POSITION</b><br />
 <br /> ​​Reporting to the Tax partners and focusing on private and public company, duties will include:<br />
 </p>
<ul>
<li>​Manage and review tax files and engagements</li>
<li>​Prepare internal and external memorandums and research tax issues</li>
<li>​Offer tax compliance and planning services to a variety of clients including corporations, partnerships and trusts</li>
<li>​Lead complex engagements, provide quality advice and seek to expand services to clients</li>
<li>​Identify and resolve accounting and tax issues</li>
<li>​Delegate to all levels of staff – provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members as required</li>
<li>​Manage client relationships effectively and ensure a high quality of service is provided</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>THE REQUIREMENTS</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>5+ experience in public practice in the tax specialty</li>
<li>Completion of In-Depth tax program highly desirable</li>
<li>​Experience with owner-managed private company work is a strong asset</li>
<li>​Experience with CaseWare/Caseview and TaxPrep is highly desirable</li>
<li>​Strong technical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills ​</li>
</ul>
<p> <b>COMPENSATION</b> </p>
<ul>
<li>Salary $90,000-150,000</li>
<li>4 weeks of vacation</li>
