ABOUT THE POSITION

​​Reporting to the Tax partners and focusing on private and public company, duties will include:

  • ​Manage and review tax files and engagements
  • ​Prepare internal and external memorandums and research tax issues
  • ​Offer tax compliance and planning services to a variety of clients including corporations, partnerships and trusts
  • ​Lead complex engagements, provide quality advice and seek to expand services to clients
  • ​Identify and resolve accounting and tax issues
  • ​Delegate to all levels of staff – provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members as required
  • ​Manage client relationships effectively and ensure a high quality of service is provided

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ experience in public practice in the tax specialty
  • Completion of In-Depth tax program highly desirable
  • ​Experience with owner-managed private company work is a strong asset
  • ​Experience with CaseWare/Caseview and TaxPrep is highly desirable
  • ​Strong technical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills ​

COMPENSATION

  • Salary $90,000-150,000
  • 4 weeks of vacation
