A Nigerian man was arrested for purchasing a N5 million cloth at a boutique in Benin, Edo State, using a fake bank alert.
A video on X captured his arrest.
In the video shared by @ChuksEricE, the suspect was seen being beaten and dragged by bystanders, with some slapping him.
A woman in the video explained the thief’s actions.
She stated:“The guy is a criminal. He’s using juju. He came to buy clothes of ₦5m and used a fake alert.”
