<p><b>Your Opportunity:</b></p>
<p> Students with a strong interest in how the operations work and driving improvement will be successful in this role as a Sales and/or Logistics Student. This position develops subject-matter expertise, as well as competency in leadership, big picture thinking, collaboration, and communication while gaining valuable real-world experience.</p>
<p><b>Your Responsibilities:</b></p>
<p> We are looking for the right candidate and will tailor the summer based on the individual interests of the person.</p>
<p> Logistics: </p>
<ul>
<li>Supporting the freight team to ensure the daily needs of the multiple sawmills are achieved.</li>
<li>Communicating with various trucking companies to book loads and tender loads to carriers.</li>
<li>Reporting on activities such as trucking, shipments, and inventory.</li>
<li>Working with carriers for rail rates, along with ordering rail car supply from rail companies.</li>
</ul>
<p> Sales: </p>
<ul>
<li>Assist sales team with coordinating orders</li>
<li>Communicate with customers on a regular basis</li>
<li>Other duties as required</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Education:</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Business Administration degree program</li>
<li>A student in good standing and returning to school in Fall 2025.</li>
</ul>
<p> · Assist sales team with coordinating orders </p>
<ul>
<li>Communicate with customers on a regular basis</li>
<li>Demonstrate the ability to learn and develop quickly. No experience is required.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (particularly Excel) is required</li>
<li>High energy, motivated individual</li>
<li>Team player; must be able to collaborate and work with others in a respectful manner</li>
<li>Have excellent oral and written communication skills</li>
<li>Excel at producing highly detailed, quality work</li>
<li>Are self-motivated; works well independently without minimal supervision</li>
<li>Ability to manage several files at the same time</li>
<li>Other duties as required</li>
</ul>
