<p><b>Job description</b>: Robert Half is currently working with a client looking for an Inventory Clerk. As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible to manage orders to facilitate sales or production and keep track of goods and services. Inventory Clerk responsibilities will include signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and placing orders for more inventory according to demand. If you are a detailed oriented inventory professional with excellent math and communication skills, this is the Inventory Clerk position for you!</p>
<p><b>Major responsibilities</b></p>
<p> &#8211; Managing inventory by stocking and cataloging products</p>
<p> &#8211; Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs</p>
<p> &#8211; Counting and classifying items</p>
<p> &#8211; Handling document discrepancies</p>
<p> &#8211; Working closely with the purchasing manager and inventory analyst</p>
<p> &#8211; Entering data into the system</p>
<p> &#8211; Securing shipment arrival times from vendors and suppliers after ordering inventory</p>
<p> &#8211; Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and computer records<br />
 &#8211; 1+ years&#8217; experience in retail and/or inventory sector is preferred</p>
<p> &#8211; Mathematical and analytical skills</p>
<p> &#8211; Problem solving skills and high attention to detail</p>
<p> &#8211; High school diploma or equivalent</p>
<p> &#8211; Knowledge of the range of company products and services</p>
<p> &#8211; Great written, verbal, and interpersonal skills</p>
<p> &#8211; Ability to use inventory computer programs to update counts and compile reports, such as spreadsheets</p>
