We’re looking for a Learning Experience Specialist to join our Talent & Capability team in Montreal. Reporting to the Lead, Learning & Development, you partner closely with internal stakeholders to identify skill gaps and develop creative and engaging asynchronous learning solutions that meet professional standards in andragogy and instructional design.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Work with internal subject matter experts to assess asynchronous learning needs to inform plans for learning design approach as it relates to employee onboarding, upskilling, and compliance training.
  • Project manage each asynchronous learning solution through the design lifecycle from scoping, research and analysis, design, development, testing, and launch.
  • Develop or curate asynchronous learning solutions, consisting of E-Learning courses, video tutorials, and job aids, leveraging multiple tools (e.g., Rise Articulate 360, G-Suite, LinkedIn Learning).
  • Ensure asynchronous learning solutions incorporate best practices in adult learning theory by monitoring and practicing the latest trends and techniques in adult learning and incorporating them into E-Learning course design and delivery.
  • Overall accountability of the LMS: Administration and maintenance inclusive of uploading, disseminating, tracking, and updating of E-Learning solutions, user accounts, etc.

What you need to bring:

We’re a team of 6 people located in North America and Asia Pacific who support the business globally. Success in this role requires a highly energetic self-starter with a demonstrated background and understanding of adult learning theory, learning technology, and instructional design.

We’re looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • 1-3 years of proven experience with designing, developing, implementing, and/or administering training/learning programs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Learning Experience Design, Education, Communication, Organizational Design, Psychology, Human Resources, other equivalent curriculum that focuses on learning or equivalent experience.
  • Experience designing and developing asynchronous learning solutions (portfolio with work samples preferred).
  • Knowledge of Instructional Systems Design Methodology, Adult Learning Theory, Levels of Evaluation, industry standard technologies (e.g., virtual learning platforms, LMS (Docebo), E-Learning authoring tools (Articulate Rise), design programs (Canva), LinkedIn Learning.
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to understand competency and training and education requirements across a wide range of disciplines.
  • Ability to design and work on multiple projects with rapid development deadlines.
  • Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.
  • Proven ability to easily adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

  • Experience with audio/video production and editing.
  • An exceptional level of comfort with technology.
  • A high-level of autonomy.
  • A creative nature.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken French.
