Overview

The (Leader) Merchandising Manager will play a key role in executing and monitoring the responsible product category and sales strategies for the Lixil Americas portfolio of brands across channels. This position will provide insight, execution, coordination, and analytical support of initiatives ensuring profitability and growth goals are met as identified in the Annual Operating Plan.
Responsibilities

Partner with insights organization to evaluate and present pertinent industry and category data that supports development of sell-in strategies for new or existing product development and placement. Including size and configuration of market, customer market and aisle profiles, competitive analysis and industry trends.

Partner with operational teams to provide inputs on potential supply allocation and prioritization decisions, new product phase in and phase out strategies, demand planning to identify gaps in forecasts to annual plan, and pricing/promotional parameters

Provides responsible category performance analysis and reporting of key levers in driving merchandising PMR objectives including; pricing, mix, volume, and promotional activities as required to implement action plans against gaps to annual plan

Responsible for annual SKU rationalization, on-going classification and E&O strategies.

Responsible for developing and coordinating the collection and synthesis of major pieces of information, critical meetings and or presentations. Including product line reviews
Qualifications

Bachelor degree in finance,marketing, business or related field.

5 years of experience

MBA Preferred

Business-owner mindset: take initiative and get things done with a focus on results

Agile: capacity to respond quickly to changing marketplace
dynamics

Analytic horsepower that translates data into insights and actionable recommendations; ability to incorporate new learning into existing plans

Strong influencing skills: work well with others and lead in a cross functional environment

Strong communication skills (verbal and written – including proficiency in Power-Point).

Strong project management skills

Ability to travel domestically
Hiring Range

The Hiring Salary Range for this position is $76k – $118k annually.

(Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

Other Compensation (if applicable): This role will be eligible to participate in the annual Short Term Incentive plan.

Regular Full-Time Salaried positions: Will include a comprehensive benefits package.
